Artifact: Lesson Plan with Reflection

I created a lesson plan on shapes for preschoolers. The activity included a shape scavenger hunt where children identified circles, squares, and triangles around the classroom.
In my reflection, I noted that children were highly engaged and that hands-on movement helped them better understand the concept.

RATIONALE STATEMENT

This artifact demonstrates my ability to build positive relationships and supportive interactions with children (4a). It highlights my use of effective teaching strategies and tools, including hands-on learning and technology (4b). I applied a variety of developmentally appropriate approaches (4c) and reflected on my teaching to improve outcomes for each child (4d).
